Food Nutrition and Healthy Cooking Concepts
This course was designed to enhance seafarer's knowledge, skills and attitude on the nutrients essential to our body with compliance with the Maritime Labor Convention (MLC) 2006 Standard A3.2. The food pyramid is used to plan for a healthier food choice on board which includes the amount of daily calories needed by our bodies. Latest Trends and Concept of Healthy Cooking are also included.
This course is designed mainly for Cooks, Chief Cooks and Chief Stewards.
