Enclosed Space Entry

Description

The course will primarily cover competencies in entering enclosed, confined and dangerous spaces. It includes also competence in the proper use gas and atmosphere detection and measuring equipment.

The course include topics on the different terms use in entering enclosed spaces, precautions before entry, role of the competent and responsible person, hazard identification and risk assessment, preparing for entry into enclosed spaces, testing the atmosphere, procedures before, during and after entry in an enclosed/confined spaces, and additional requirements when the spaces is suspected as dangerous.


Entry Requirement

This course shall have no formal pre-requisite. However, the student should have been designated a competent person for this supervisory level of training.
